Had a great couple days doing a demo of a brand new band, as yet unnamed even!
The members are Bella Hardy, Siobhan Miller, Gillian Frame, James Lindsay and a very nice young man named Leo. Lots of harmony singing and a groovy rhythm section.
Glad this scene is still creating great new collaborations.

The YMI demo winners are all very good and should make for some great recordings.

Also very excited about our latest acquicition of new main studio monitors. We got an amazing pair of ATC SCM20 A SL’s. These are very accurate reference monitors. So we are sure you will leave with the best mixes possible.

It is hard to get anthing done with a smelly man flu though, hopefully gone soon.

MWAH has been awarded a grant from Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative to deliver 5 demos from under 25’s.

The selection process is two fold. Two artist are the winner and runner up in BBC’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year.

Fiddler Kristin Harvey and young Scots singer Alistair Ogilvy are the first to be selected for the demo process. The other 3 will come from a separate songwriting competition run by national arts body Burnsong.
MWAH is very excited to work with such great young talent.
